This application provides a streamlined approach to calculating Learjet weight and balance, offering a practical tool for pilots and operators. The use of adjustable sliders enables users to modify aircraft load configurations efficiently and instantly observe their impact on the aircraft's center of gravity (CG) and pitch trim setting. This functionality facilitates exploration of the aircraft's CG envelope limits, which are expressed as a percentage of mean aerodynamic chord (MAC) with specified forward and aft boundaries. When the configuration exceeds these CG limits or the aircraft's weight surpasses permissible thresholds, the corresponding indicators turn red for immediate visual feedback.

An accompanying feature allows users to generate a comprehensive WEIGHT AND BALANCE REPORT in PDF format at no additional cost. This report contains detailed calculations of weight, moment, and CG percentage, closely resembling the traditional weight and balance forms specified in the aircraft's AFM. Users can print or email this document as a PDF attachment for documentation or flight planning purposes.

The application also supports data sharing through importing and exporting functions. Users can easily transmit aircraft configurations via email to other Lear W&B app users or transfer data between devices, ensuring seamless continuity in operations.

Currently, this calculator supports the Learjet 31/31A and Learjet 60 models, including variants with Raisbeck lockers and extended-range fuel tanks, as well as different serial number ranges for the Learjet 60. Future updates are planned to include additional Learjet models, enhanced compatibility with iPad devices, and expanded features, with corresponding adjustments to pricing.
